PLAY! AMSTERDAM is possibly the most useful book you will ever buy during the early years of your children's lives!

This book was put together by a parent in her free time, with her kids as a fun project. Yes, we actually went up and down every street in Amsterdam looking for playgrounds! As a result, PLAY! AMSTERDAM represents a snapshot in time of the playgrounds, equipment and facilities available.

Things change quickly in this city, so unfortunately the information provided in this book cannot be guaranteed to be correct or complete. If you find that things have changed, or notice a playground missing from the book, please !

This big and beautiful play area is billed as a natural, adventure play area and it is fantastic. There are so many places to explore and so many natural 'obstacles' to challenge kids - definitely a place for medium and bigger kids to take some (controlled) risks and play like they are out in the country. There is lots of water around, so watch out with the littlest ones. For a list of ongoing activities, check out the website at www.woestewesten.nl.
